This is my submission for their most recent contest "Canary on a Catwalk" where we were to re-design the costume of DC comics' Black Canary.

Unfortunately I didn't win, but this was a lot of fun. I will continue trying. I believe a Captain America re-design is next. I'm already working on it!

KRAMPUSSE in June!

I started this for an ArtOrder challenge (ArtOrder is the awesome blog of John Schindehette, Senior Art Director - Dungeons and Dragons, Wizards of the Coast) but didn't finish it by the deadline.

Krampusse (Krampus, Krumpus) is the Austrian/Germanic counterpoint to Santa Claus.

These guys were both penciled, inked, then colored in Photoshop. The backgrounds are photo-manipulation. Kind of anime/genetic engineering gone bad (or good!) concepts.
